Twins First Birthday Party

For a 2 year old who doesn't yet attend preschool, Hallie sure has lots of little friends foundation for ichthyosis and related skin. Anyway, that will come in time. This is me trying to contain him as the cake is cut:J web. Die cut cardstock.

On Sunday we went to my niece's twins first birthday party birthday party. I'm tired this morning, but content. They are twins first birthday party and they are 1 year old!!!! It was a hot day but definitely a fun day.

. Special K said she didn't see the illusion, but I did and Hermione stared at it for a long time. Let's just say that we're impressed that our girl understands where to place her feet and that she needs to peddle. She also took the time to look carefully at a lot of other science fair projects parties. Unfortunately, she's about a half inch too short to have quite enough leverage to go (a good thing because she still needs a helmet and doesn't quite get the concept of steering. I was pleased and proud to see that their project had more of their own writing and drawing than most including up to fifth grades. Now both twins first birthday party are in the afternoon class. It put to rest for now the worry of why I'm tired birthday greeting.

Hallie had a rough end of the week last week---she was still working the soy out of her system, which was a mess---so she ended up taking a very long late morning/early afternoon nap birthdate. Hermione and I braved the crowds or rather I did and Hermione stayed close to me. Today I went to my cousins' birthday party firsts.

Since I refuse to scrapbook or even organize our photos in any fashion this is their only hope. Some kids whispered, but they all read the entire book. Before leaving Long Beach, we stopped at the Creative Cakery, per the Mother's request, for two individual nut-free mini-bunt cakes for the twins. I spent Sunday afternoon with her and two other girls trying to get them to write a paragraph each for the joint project on sundials they shared with Special K. Eric was beaming like a proud parent and got some great shots of Hallie trying out a 'hot' (as in borrowed from another park user) tricycle and engaging in all sorts of antics).

I felt nostalgic and also grateful at how far we've come birthdays. Little T said "names of friends have left me. After lunch, I climbed into the attic to find a tarp which my brother used to cover a sliding lounge in the backyard, then loaded a few folding chairs into my car for the coming weekend twins first birthday party. CM and I took the opportunity to grab a few platefuls of beans, tortillas, rice and chicken to silence our growling stomachs. I don't consider myself even remotely capable of handling kids, but Riley and Jackie don't seem to sense my fear and will grab my hands, pull my glasses from my head, giggle and squeal at my goofy faces web. While my brother barbecued the pork loins, I hooked up the (very) old VCR to the TV in my parents' bedroom and managed to get it right the first time as the main title of Cinderella faded onto the screen. When it came time to blow out the candles, the twins first birthday party just stared at the cake while Mommy and Daddy tried to get them to blow. . My favorite was the jars and plates floating up on a screen which gave the illusion of falling down.
